Delectation

My Grandmother (I love you) inherently passed down the "forgetful" gene to me. When retaining significant information such as music, appointments, phone numbers, history, (technical info), etc, I'm the man with the memory. I'm referring to common day to day activity: misplacing my keys, wallet, cell phone, stuffed donkey (hehe..I'm kidding). This happens everyday of my life (okay, I'm being a little facetious). Last night was my 2nd date with David & we were supposed to meet at Nick's Pizza in Forest Hills. Well, seeing that I've only been there once my recollection was that is was under the bridge near the historical Station Square, however it was actually a kabaab house. CRAP! Thinking fast, it was actually located at the other end of Austin Street. So, if you know my view on punctuality then you know I was very upset when I was 5 minutes late (and the fact that is was raining didn't help). David was all smiles and wasn't even phased by it, which was a relief. We enjoyed the amazing pizza @ Nicks (which is a lot like the flat pizza @ Imo's in St Louis) and then proceeded to take a walk through the Forest Hills Gardens, where David lived close by. Great guy, great time and he was the perfect gentleman, however not a match for me. Tis life......Can't win them all!
