Cat's Away Party & Bowling

When the NY Philharmonic Orchestra travels internationally on tour, the administration plans a huge themed party based on the country they're traveling in. Amo l'Italia (I love Italy)! Sorprendente (Incredible)!!! Peroni beer (happiness) and Italian food. Good Times...
Directly following work (after 4 beers), I had daCoda rehearsal at Shelter Studios. Wonderful & productive as usual. Shawn picked me up around 8pm in Midtown (I, handing off a the rose to Shawn receiving a kiss in return) & then we ventured to Elmhurst, Queens stopping at an establishment called PLAY. I love our adventures. We decided to be spontaneous and give bowling & billiards a shot (accompanied by festive drinks). The space (from the outside) appeared to be sketchy, but from the inside it was upscale & hip. You can't judge a book by it's cover. :-)

Needless to say I suck at bowling. We played 2 games, so for a complete amateur I did well (4 strikes in the last game). Shawn was amazing, as I expected. :-) I'm not a sore loser...hehe. Pool is more of my forte. :-)
The night was a novel experience....one I hope to repeat in another venue. :-)
